HAND FORGED WORKS CREATED IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
The Camp Axe is a hand forged general purpose chore axe with a head weight in the 1.25 lb range and a 19 inch handle. This makes for an easy swinging axe perfect for cutting up wood for a camp fire. The handle is hand shaped using a draw knife and spoke shave from locally sourced hardwoods. The Camp Axe comes with a hand crafted leather sheath.
The kitchen knives are styled after traditional Japanese kitchen knives, using 1084 high carbon steel and Wa-style handles. Handle material can vary depending on what hardwoods I can locally source.
The various Hooks are made from mild steel salvaged from a construction site and require several forging steps to achieve the final shape. They are approximately 3 to 4 inches tall and used mostly for coat racks with the horns being a great place to hang your keys. Sold individually or in sets mounted on a forged steel rail as a coat rack.
